Education

Here I'll tell you a bit about the educative projects I have taken part in through the years, other than face-to-face and online language lessons.

Most of them are Erasmus+ Projects, co-funded by the EU and developed with partners all around Europe, with the aim to help everyone improve in different aspects of their lives.

They are all available for free on their respective webpages (linked for your convenience).

Fit4DigiLinE

This project is an online course for teachers to improve their online teaching skills. It was conceived during the Covid-19 pandemic, when every teacher in the world had to recycle themselves and learn new methods of passing their knowledge to their students. It contains video lessons and many resources that can be used by any kind of teacher, though it focuses in language teaching.

SpeakER is a project with which we made a game out of language learning. More specifically an escape room game, so trendy nowadays. Students have to solve a series of enigmas in order to break out of the classroom!

Among the resources you'll find in this project there are ready made enigmas that are easy to take to your classroom, though you can elaborate them as much as you want, the more, the funnier and more engaging it gets!

You will also find guides on how to create your own enigmas and design a full escape room experience.

EdComix

With EdComix we managed to make even the wariest student become eager to participate in class and learn. EdComix is a set of tools and resources that were designed with language education in mind, but they can be tweaked and used for any kind subject with a bit of imagination.

With these resources, teachers can create comics to present the contents of their lessons in a different manner. But the best way to use them is to make the students create their own comics and develop their tech skills as well as their languages in the most creative of fashions.

Dis is English

This is a fascinating endeavour by the school I used to teach in. It consisted in designing English courses for students (Spanish speakers mainly) with dyslexia.

We created our own materials and implemented our personalised method: with small groups (and one to one lessons), daily activities and a close weekly monitoring of each student. We offered A1, A2 and B1 level courses.
